17/09/26 - The present and the future of genomics: an event by GenoGra

On 17 September 2026, GenoGra, in partnership with the Alumni Club Healthcare & Life Sciences of POLIMI Graduate School of Management and under the patronage of Assolombarda, presents Il presente e il futuro della genomica: dialogo tra ricerca, industria e innovazione tecnologica, an event dedicated to the role of genomics as a driver of innovation across research, industry and technological development.

In recent years, the ability to generate genomic data has grown significantly. Today, the real challenge is no longer only producing data, but interpreting it, making it accessible and transforming it into useful knowledge. The event reflects this shift: it starts from concrete challenges across sectors and explores the opportunities enabled by emerging approaches such as pangenomics.

The format
Starting from this perspective, the event will be structured around two thematic panels designed to connect scientific perspectives, sector-specific needs and technological responses.
The discussion will explore the value of genomics in both human and non-human fields, with contributions from speakers across research, clinical, biotech, pharma and industrial ecosystems.
The event will conclude with an interactive presentation by GenoGra's CEO, Guido Walter Di Donato, showing how GenoGra’s platform addresses today's genomic analysis bottlenecks to streamline workflows.
The event will be moderated by Sebastiano Bianca, Medical Geneticist & co-founder of BGenetica, and Guido Walter Di Donato, CEO & Founder of GenoGra.
