Guido Walter Di Donato
Chief Executive Officer
Guido is the creator of the technology behind GenoGra’s platform and serves as CEO. After graduating with honors in Biomedical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano and Bioengineering at the UIC, Guido completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering in collaboration with Oracle Labs. Involved in research activities since 2016, he has gained experience in computational genomics and high-performance graph analysis, and is the author of 20+ international publications and two patents. Guido has 8 years of experience in team and project management, gained during his work at NECSTLab, UIC, and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Passionate about innovation and the dramatic arts, over the years, he has developed a range of essential “hard” and “soft” skills for an entrepreneur in the deep-tech field.

Joining GenoGra early, before revenue, product, or investors, he helped shape the company’s business foundations and strategic direction. Before GenoGra, his client-facing role at Jakala exposed him to diverse industries and executive-level stakeholders, experience he now leverages to support GenoGra’s highly technical team with a clear business perspective.

Mirko is committed to defining GenoGra’s research directions and protecting novel IP with proper strategies.

GenoGra has been awarded funding under the Regional ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) program.
This support will equips the company with the resources to finalize the development of its software platform, define and implement its go-to-market strategy, and strengthen its marketing and communication capabilities.
